Top set is on!

So here are the pictures! They are hardly noticable at all which is great for me! They had to put some spacers around my crown to put the metal ring on that tooth since a bracket would more than likely just fall off. I go back next week to get that put on as well as the bottoms! Yay, and surprisingly, unless I am just too tuff, it really didn't hurt at all! I feel pressure and I could tell each little bit that she tightened them but I can't really say, "My teeth are killing me!" Guess that is a good thing for now! We will see how I feel next week! This is def going to take some getting use to but in the end, I think I am going to rather enjoy braces. ;)

  2. Dear Juliet,

My daughter is missing both lateral incisors, and I am debating which treatment prefferable. from what I've learned that orthodentic space closure is a better solution than prosthetic replacement.

What procedure have you started , and do you have any advice on the subject. (my dqaughter is 6 years old)

    Regards,

    Idan.

  3. Idan,
I have chosen to use braces to close the gap and then will have the lateral incisors implanted once the new space for them is created. I chose this for the long term. The implants will last the longest. Meaning up keep is little to nothing. I also didnt see the point in not using two perfectly good teeth (my front teeth.) I think it is great that you are looking into helping your girl already! It will go by SO quick for her since her teeth are so young! Although I have had the braces for about 4 months now and my gap has close significantly! I will post some new pictures right now. Good luck to you and your daughter!

  4. Dear Juliet,

I hope that all is well with you and that you have made progress with your dental treatment.

Do you have any recommendations regarding the treatment ? My daughter is still a good (...) four years away from being ableto undergo an orthodotic treatment, yet I am trying to gather as much info as I can .

    Best Regards,

    Idan.
